According to Defra’s most recent Farm Business Survey, two-thirds of farm businesses in England and 38% of farmers in Wales, have already diversified. Roger Parry & Partners are urging those who haven’t yet considered diversifying to start preparing now for a post Brexit future.
Diversification – what’s new for 2019
According to Defra’s most recent Farm Business Survey, two-thirds of farm businesses in England have already diversified, generating a total income of £620 million during 2016/17. In Wales recent statistics highlight that 38% of farmers have diversified their farm business.
